The different type of beers brewed at the APB (Asian Pasific Brewery), from left to right : Tiger, Heineken (OK, this is not a beer), Barton, ABC, Guiness and Rohan. The beers you don't know are local to Singapoor / Asia -- Dirk

Toilet - part 2

An urinal at the office. As you can see, it is quite low. You can compare it with urinals for children in europe. I didn't wet my pants yet, but is bound to happen any day. Fortunately, there is a washing machine at the appartment. Should ask my singapoor collegue Bonifacio (which has practically the same height as me) how he handels -- Dirk

The toilet at the office. Either they installed it because total is a french company, or the french stole the idea from the singapoorians. Either way, you might understand why I like to wait to go the (normal) toilet at the hotel -- Dirk

Sacred Heart Church

Went on a walk (used the book "Discover Singapore on foor" of Laurence, Michel's wife) and came across this church. Since my uncle is a missionary of the same congregation, I had to take a picture. I also used the occasion to burn some candles for a faster network at the office in Singapore -- Dirk

Tepaniyaki

Went out yesterday evening with Michel to a Japanese restaurant. During the cooking, a dish caught fire. Fortunately, I was sitting next to the fire extinguisher, so I managed to put out the fire. After this, we were kindely removed from the restaurant, since this seemed to be part of the show(cooking). Downside is that it was Michel's favorite restaurant. Upside is that we didn't have to pay --- Dirk

Little Holland

With the small typical dutch house (received on the KLM-flight) and the mirror in the appartment, I'm creating little holland. Dutch people don't seem to be liked here : their colonial past.
(and furthermore, what else to write : went out to eat tepaniyaki with Michel, also commented by Paul, and afterwards drank a Singapore Sling cocktail, commented by Fabien)

La nuit, les bateaux se dirigeant vers ce port important offrent une vue impressionnante ...

Et encore, difficile de distinguer les avions qui arrivent également à une cadence soutenue !
